Blueexpressions isn't a tribute to my favorite color or a random name I coined but, rather, reflects the love and great admiration I have for a certain art movement called De Blue Ryder and the style of art that is abstract expressionism. Both depict the world without spelling out every detail in different ways and both have been endlessly inspiring.

Welcome to BlueExpressions! I'm Brianna McCord, a designer and COLOR enthusiast currently crafting original pieces in the vibrant landscape of Sweden. My world, once shaped by the hustle and bustle of NYC, now draws inspiration from the serene beauty and diverse culture of this new chapter.
Living in Sweden has added a fresh palette to my artistic canvas, influencing my work with the rich hues of Scandinavian landscapes and the unique experiences of this enchanting country. Each stroke tells a story of the colors I encounter daily, whether it's from the people I meet, my travels, or the observations I make in this picturesque environment.
My fascination with art and art history remains a guiding force. The conception process, from inspiration to creation, continues to intrigue me and is woven into the very fabric of my work. Some of these observations and inspirations, now shaped by my Scandinavian surroundings, manifest in the evolving imagery I create.
